How much does it cost to join the waitlist?
Nothing. The waitlist is free — just drop your email (and Shopify URL if you have one) and you're in. Founding brands get locked-in pricing at launch.
What do founding brands get?
Early access before launch, founding-member pricing locked in, and a transaction fee capped at 5% forever. Only the first 100 brands qualify.
What if Rent Indie doesn't launch?
You lose nothing — the waitlist is free. If we launch, you're first in line.
When does the plugin launch?
We're in active development now. Waitlist brands get early access before we go live on the Shopify App Store. We are aiming for Fall 2026. We'll email you with updates and your access date as soon as it's confirmed.
Do I need to be technical to use it?
Not at all. If you can add an app on Shopify, you can use Rent Indie. No code, no developers, no setup calls required. Installation comes with step-by-step instructions.
Will it work with my existing Shopify theme?
Yes. Rent Indie installs as a native Shopify app and works with any theme using standard Shopify app blocks.
Who handles shipping and returns?
You do. Rent Indie gives you the infrastructure: listings, pricing, windows, deposits, and auto re-listing. Fulfillment stays with you so you keep full control of your brand experience.
What if a customer damages a piece?
You set your own deposit amount and your own damage policy. Deposits are collected at checkout and held until the item is returned in agreed condition.
